6th “KING LEONIDAS RUN” 80 KM ULTRAMARATHON TRIPOLI–SPARTA

The 6th “King Leonidas Run”, an 80 km ultramarathon from Tripoli to Sparta, will take place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, alongside the 12th “Immortals Race”.

“THE IMMORTALS”

with the kind support of the Spartan Runners, who will serve as the race’s technical advisers,

and with the valuable support of the Municipalities of Tripoli and Sparta,

IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE

the 6th “KING LEONIDAS RUN” – an 80 km ultramarathon from Tripoli to Sparta.

Race date: Saturday, 24 October 2026
Starting point: Areos Square, Tripoli – Statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis
Finish point: Sparta – Statue of King Leonidas
Starting time: 2:00 p.m.
Time limit: 12 hours – until 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, 25 October 2026

The entire race will take place on an asphalt road course connecting the monuments of two immortal heroes of Hellenism: Theodoros Kolokotronis and King Leonidas.

The race will follow part of the same route as the “IMMORTALS RACE”.
