Filip Hornych
Short biography:
My name is Filip Hornych, an endurance athlete from the Czech Republic who combines trail running, ultramarathons, and strength training. I started training intensely half a year ago with short distances, but gradually shifted toward longer and tougher races in the mountains and roads. My hardest race I have ever run was spartan ultra 53KM 70 obstacles with 3000m elevation. I’m driven by the challenge of finding my physical and mental limits — and pushing past them.
Why did you choose to participate in KING LEONIDAS 80 Km?
I am on an Erasmus programme in Crete and if I have the opportunity to run such a race in a different country, I have to take it.
