PENNY TSINOPOULOU FINISHES 5TH IN EUROPE!

Panagiota “Penny” Tsinopoulou achieved a major international distinction at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
The Greek champion claimed 5th place in the 42.195 km Marathon Race Walk, crossing the finish line in 3:25:14!
With a powerful surge over the final kilometres, she moved from 7th to 5th place and delivered one of the most important performances of her career.
Her performance marks:
✅ A new personal best
✅ An improvement of exactly 13 minutes
✅ Her highest-ever placing at a major international championship
✅ Achievement of the qualifying standard for the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing
